Nota Phaser

Nota Phaser shifts the phase of a sound through a chain of all-pass stages and mixes it back with the original: notches appear and an LFO sweeps them — the swirl of a classic phaser pedal or a rotary speaker.

Sine, triangle or saw; Hz (free, 0.02–8 Hz) or Sync (4 bars to 1/16, with dotted and triplets); Rate; Stereo — the right channel’s LFO runs 0–180° behind the left.

The live all-pass response of L and R with the notches marked — drag left and right for Center, up and down for Feedback — and the corner frequency of both channels over two cycles.

Control What it does
Stages 2, 4, 6, 8 or 12 — more stages, more notches (half as many as stages)
Center Centre of the sweep, 50 Hz–5 kHz
Depth How far it sweeps, up to ±3 octaves
Feedback Bipolar: positive deepens and sharpens the notches; negative moves and widens them
Mix 0 dry · 50 % the deepest notches · 100 % wet only (phase shift alone)
