Nota Level
Nota Level measures loudness the way streaming and broadcast do (ITU-R BS.1770) and rides a gain so the output sits on a target in LUFS. Use it to level a voice, prepare a podcast, stage gain before a chain, or match one track to another.

Correction
Section titled “Correction”| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Auto / Manual | Auto rides the gain toward the target; Manual applies the fader you set |
| Match | In Manual: set the gain to the distance to the target, once |
| Reset | In Auto: restart the measurement from now |
| Target | The loudness to reach — click the value for standards (streaming, broadcast…) or a reference track |
| Trim | An offset on top |
The applied gain shows in large type, with the reason when it’s held (max gain, true peak). Pauses and release tails don’t get pumped up: while the input is too quiet to level, the gain holds.
The graph
Section titled “The graph”Scale — Mom (momentary, 0.4 s), Short (3 s) or Integ (integrated, gated) — over 8 seconds of input, output and the target with its ±1 LU band. Drag the target line.
Response and safety
Section titled “Response and safety”Fast / Slow, Window (how much loudness history it averages), Max Gain (the most it will ever change). True-peak safe — a look-ahead limiter keeps the output under the Ceiling in dBTP; its delay is compensated.
Matching a reference
Section titled “Matching a reference”Pick a reference track as the target (it becomes the device’s sidechain source): Level then matches this track’s loudness to that one, on the same scale.
Presets
Section titled “Presets”30 factory presets: delivery targets (Stream −14 LUFS, Podcast −16 LUFS, Broadcast −23 LUFS, Club −9 LUFS, EBU R128 −23, ATSC A/85 −24, Apple Music −16, YouTube −14, Loud Master −11, Audiobook −18 (ACX), Cinema Dialogue −27, Game Audio −24, Radio Loud −12), riders (Voice Rider, Dialogue Leveler, Interview Balance, Live Stream Rider, Quiet Source Boost, Fast Leveler, Gentle Rider, Tight Rider), matching (Match Reference, Match Reference Fast) and staging (Gain Staging −18, Mix Bus −20, Mastering Prep −18, Music Bed −28, Sample Normalizer −12, True-Peak Guard, Static Boost +6).
